The numbers are staggering and growing not only nationally, but global with the head count of men, women and children who cannot read or write. The time has come to shed some light on an ancient shoreline invention known as none other than the alphabet. The alphabet is a shoreline invention that was invented over 2,800 years ago by an ancient seafaring people known as the Phoenician. The Phoenician invented the alphabet and incorporated everything they knew and observed about the sea into the creation of what the alphabet is and how the alphabet works. The letter characters of the alphabet are symbols of phonic sounds that record in symbol the transparent or invisible traveling and fluent sounds of language. The only problem to date with teaching reading is that there are as many different ways to present and teach reading numbered to the teachers that teach reading. No one on land can explain the reason for such staggering numbers of those who cannot read or write. But there in the sea, fish, whales, and dolphins have been reading sound waves long before it was considered fashionable to read. The staggering numbers of those who cannot read or write may be related to the way children from the land are taught to read without the basic history of what exactly the alphabet is and how the alphabet works. Help & the School of Fish Academy welcome you to see/sea reading phonic sounds from a fish's perspective with a whales and dolphins point of view. Welcome to The School of Fish Academy where children from the sea HELP children from the land use echolocation to see/sea the phonic sounds of language through the letter characters of the alphabet. The alphabet down through the centuries has always been cared for and preserved for the next generation by someone. From the great halls of ancient monasteries and cloisters that house Monks and Nuns that preserved the alphabet and literacy in great works of art, such as the hand work found in tapestries with the alphabet incorporated into the weave or the art of great hand-made books. Someone down through the centuries has preserved the alphabet for the next generation of readers and writers. It is our intent to swim up to the plate with HELP & The School of Fish Academy and swim forward to pick up where those that precede this great and kind work of caring for the alphabet left off, to pick up where the Phoenician's, ancient Scholars, Monks and Nuns left off from another time in caring for the alphabet. The School of Fish Academy and its student body of fish intend to sea that the alphabet is a big splash and hit with new young readers. HELP and The School of Fish Academy present the letter characters of the alphabet in an old way with a new approach to unlock the mystery of the missing links of how the alphabet works on the shoreline and reveal to the eye of the reader what has always been before the eyes of those learning to read and the eyes of those who can read.
